Description
The Mpania beach is a 100m long beach, located in the heart of the tourist area of Kato Paphos and is honoured with the Blue Flag.
This sandy beach is ideal for those who do not want to get too far from the city centre and for those who love deep waters and winter swimming. It is fully organized and its facilities include: wooden corridors, restrooms, showers, changing rooms, cribs, umbrellas, rubbish and recycling bins. From April to October there is lifeguard surveillance for the safety of bathers as well as first aid services.
Here, summer evenings are organized every year and the coast is flooded with young people coming to hear their favourite artists.
In the surrounding area, you can find a wide variety of restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, bars, kiosks, supermarkets, as well as accommodation. Also nearby are sites and monuments of archaeological and historical interest, such as the Medieval Castle, the picturesque harbour, and the archaeological park with the famous Roman mosaics of Paphos.
